About Us
Founded in 2011 by Julie and Claire, Child Seat Safety strives to ensure that every journey is a safe journey.
The Child Seat Safety team bring together their extensive experience from all aspects of road safety, nursery products, customer interface, training and education to provide their clients with specialist knowledge. They are passionate about providing high quality, research based training, support and advice to anyone responsible for the fitting of a child seat. Whether you’re a parent, retailer, manufacturer, or from the public, private or third sectors, we offer independent assistance to suit your needs.
They are Road Safety Great Britain’s national advisors for child car seats and run the UK’s first and only IOSH and CPD accredited child car seat training courses.

JULIE DAGNALL
Director of Child Seat Safety Ltd.
An innovative and dedicated person, with a great knowledge in her specialist field of child in-car safety. With over 20 years of experience in developing and delivering training courses and educational lessons.
An excellent communicator at all levels and was the Chair of the Publicity Group for Road Safety GB North West. This group developed a national resource, which subsequently won a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award.
As Road Safety GB’s National specialist on In-Car Safety, Julie advises Local Authorities on all aspects of child car seats.
CLAIRE WATERHOUSE
Director of Child Seat Safety Ltd.
A dynamic individual, with a proven track record in Casualty Reduction through the successful development and delivery of education, training, publicity and engineering strategies.
Possessing notable management and organisational skills, complemented with the ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels.
With over 20 years of experience in developing and delivering training courses and educational lessons. Claire has worked in many areas of Road Safety, and was the Vice Chair Person for Road Safety GB North West. Claire was also a member of the Publicity Group when it won the Prince Michael International Road Safety Award.
